Innovative Software Engineering (ISE) has been awarded a three-year contract with Rockwell Collins to provide software engineering services. The initial project in which ISE will engage is to implement a key component of a Link 16 exchange network engineered and supported by Rockwell Collins in Poway, California.
“It is a significant opportunity for ISE to work with a company with the tradition and stature of Rockwell Collins,” said Hass Machlab, ISE President and CEO. “We are honored to be selected for the Link 16 project.”
Rockwell’s Link 16 system is used by the United States and many NATO nations to support the exchange of command and control information between Link 16- equipped assets. The system includes a track correlation engine which interfaces with the Link 16 system and performs analysis of local and remote network tracks to determine if they pass correlation thresholds. ISE will provide software engineering services to update the correlation engine to function properly on a new platform and to ensure seamless integration with other components of the Link 16 system.
